Nice color pencil sketches! I like the eye on the bottom and Sakina. The dragon only took 4 colors, that's amazing-it looks like it has 7 colors! You have awesome blending skills!
You've got some nice facial expressions going on here. I don't really do much coloured pencil work so i havent got much advice one way or the other there.
For some CC though, and i hope you don't mind , I think I would like to mention the ears. Ears are a tricky thing, and a bit overlooked in comparison to the all important eyes, the devilish lips and frustrating noses. But the ears are intricate in design and form, and it appears that you have a somewhat haphazard approach to them Alas they arent the most popular subject for tutorials so it's hard to find some proper coverage. [link] and [link] was the best i could do on short notice, but there is always Andrew Loomis to recommend.
If you are practicing eye drawing Id also suggest taking some of the lessons from the realistic eye drawing style over to your own. I think a bit more detail to the eyes could maybe add more depth and oomph to your characters. Not obligatory of course, but something to think about perhaps? oh, and a good tutorial for various facial bits, including eyes and ear [link]
Oh wow, thank you tons and tons for the comment. I appreciate CC anytime! The ears and eyes are actually something I've noticed I do need to work on--they seem to be one of those things that "ehh, I'll just learn better later." Which is a very poor excuse, really. I'll definitely take a good look through the links.
Thanks again for the suggestions. They're definitely helpful and I'll keep in mind the crits!
I'm late on this one D: I'm so sorry but colored pencils can do wonders and this grabbed my attention right off the bat. I love your style, it's so different
